New Mexico for Aug M&G? I'm in for that ride. I'll bring the hardware.
I'll bring back my FAL, and an AR I'm slowly building.

Doh! <slaps hand to forehead>
Dennis, I do have a pistol and rimfire berm at my home place in Parker County but the range is pretty short, <10 yards.

Anyone live or work close to Riscky's that can do an actual drive by before Saturday? It would be nice if there was one area that everyone could park and the info could be posted up.
If Digger can't, I have some business in Ft. Worth tomorrow (Thursday) so I could probably drop by on my way out of town and scope it out. I've never been to that particular Riscky's but I know about where it is.

There is a parking lot on the north side of Exchange diagonally across from Riscky's that should have enough room for us all.

Depending on how busy that lot is, there is a huge lot on the east side of Riscky's.
Yeah, either of those two lots will work. But, chances are the north lot will be full, especially on a Saturday (it's closest to the stockyards, so folks will park there first). Most likely, we'll probably end up in the east lot, no biggie.
As promised, I drove past it today in the middle of the lunch rush and it looks to me like the best opportunity for group parking would be east of Riscky's, right against the embankment of the old Swifts meat packing building:

To the right of the pedestrians in the photo.

You can get to that lot from 23rd Street, which would be much preferable to driving down Exchange street on a Saturday IMO.

One more observation: There are two Riscky's restaurants there on Exchange Street, Riscky's Steakhouse and Riscky's BBQ. The BBQ is farther east than the steak house, so there is no confusion.

See you all on Saturday.
