I have a 07 fj with 265/70/17 tires and need new ones. I want a good a/t type tire my fj is 2 wheel drive. The stock bridgestones arent good in mud or what little snow we get down south here. I would like suggestions for a good wearing tire that wont affect milage too much i get 23 mpg with stocks. I have looked and the firestone destantions or uniroyal liberator a/t are what i am currently looking at also have heard good things about toyo open countrys.

The Pro Comp all terrains are awesome. I put them on my wifes 4 door Wrangler, they are a 50,000 mile tire and severe weather rated.

Just put a set of treadwright.com tires on mine. I really like them and can't go wrong for the price. $91 a piece for 17s
