As the title says, the Temp Gauge doesn't move. Granted, I haven't driven it very far in the last few weeks since the country is shut down, but since it hit 112 today, I figured it should move up a little.....it's pegged at the 6 o'clock. Any ideas?
First thing to do is verify that the connector at the coolant temperature sensor fully plugged in and latched, and the wiring harness to the sensor is intact. Rodents like to get under the hood and chew the wiring insulation, especially if the vehicle is infrequently driven.
2010 FJ. Not sure rodents can survive in this heat =D, but there was a cat I had to chase out a few month ago. Where is this sensor located?
