I think this is a great thread too.

Do you think I am ok to join with my humble stock Nissan Armada?
HUMBLE?!
HA, you ran that thing on Black Gap Road :)
And to the trailhead of "Nowhere" :)
It is YOU who are humble, my friend!

Great thread idea Ryan.

Toyota Trail Riders is open to all makes and models 4x4s. We meet at least once every month to socialize and plan events and wheel or wrench at least once per month.

We're active on our forum as well as Facebook
Toyota Trail Riders (TTR) - Get Out and Explore.

Thanks for pointing this out. I modified my original post to reflect TTR more accurately!

Sorry Drake for missing the Houston FJ Club as well!

Do you know where this is? Looks like a decent drive
I do know where that is at.
It's in Big Bend National Park.
It is called Black Gap Road.
It's not technical wheeling, but it is loads of fun!

ouch 600 mile drive there though :| this is unfortunate
Took us 9.5 hours going 65mph to Presidio. Takes about the same to Terlingua.

It's a trip you take when you have at least 3 days to spend out there and 2 travel days.
But it's well worth the views and fun.
