Re: ALL-PRO Lift and Swampers - Bandi's FJC

I Have had the All-Pro UCA's for a bit now,
But Have not had time to do anything yet,
So I decided to Paint them Red to match
their Rear Axle Links...

I used some 400grit sand paper to scuff it
up some so that the paint would adhear to
the black powder coat that they come with...

I used a Rustoleum Auto Primer and Rustoleum
Proffesional RED paint... Pretty windy today,
but It worked out alright !!!...

I hope to install these and the AP links soon...

So Bandi,
Now that you've had those spacers for a while...how about an update?

I just installed my All pro suspension and your not kidding...wow... I too have been playing with the settings on each drive to get it how I like it. Nice stuff.

Re: ALL-PRO Lift and Swampers - Bandi's FJC

There are no Issues with the Spacers at all, Except
I now will need to do the Body Mount Mod to clear
my 34's at full turn... up to now, they were finr with
1/2" - 1" clear... But I Knew this when I bought the
spacers... I really cannot tell the difference in handling,
but I know there is due to the increased stance...

Add another two coats of Rustoleum Clear Enamel and the red will really pop. That's what I did with my wheels. Same recipe you used above, just add the clear coat.

Re: ALL-PRO Lift and Swampers - Bandi's FJC

I Just did the Body Mount Mod... It gave me 2" clearance between the tire and the mount at full lock... VERY NICE, 35" Tires down the road will not be an issue !!!...

I was rushed do to holiday preparation, So they did not turn out as pretty as I had wanted, but I will fix that up at a later date...

I don't know about NJ, but we just got our tree on Friday and both Lowe's and HD were practically sold out! And nobody was getting any more shipments. We settled on a 7 foot Douglas. My preference was for a Frazier, but all gone. Some of the mom & pop operations were selling all kinds for about double the HD prices! I guess that's capitalism, but dang-it, if I was going to pay $75 for a 6 ft Frazier!

Re: ALL-PRO Lift and Swampers - Bandi's FJC

We ended up with a Frasier... 7.5ft... $54.95...
Extreme amount of extra Trees around here...
Its a Shame that the will go to waste...

Leroy, from personal experience I'd recommend knocking off the corner of the factory bottom lip next to your welded area at a 45* angle about 3/4" to 1" back from where you are now, thats where it will rub on compression & full turn. Looking good so far though!

Re: ALL-PRO Lift and Swampers - Bandi's FJC

Thanks for the advise Terry... I want to be ready
to run 35's when it comes time... I will be patching
these up when I get a some more time... My
Bro-In-Law wanted to weld these up, and I had
not mutch time, so I let him... Not the his best
work that I have seen him do... but it can be fixed
to my liking later on...

I will trim them up higher as you suggested... I am
going to grind down the welds and redo them as
needed for a clean look, plus cut the bottom edge
of and add a 3/8" solid round stock along the
bottom edge for strength... see below...

Re: ALL-PRO Lift and Swampers - Bandi's FJC

I Finally added my Axe/Shovel Combo to my Stock
Roof Rack...

I Used the Fourtreks Perpendicular Mount setup for
this... The Clamps are very strong (same as for the
Hi-Lift mount) and mount up east...

I Now have 6 ring clamps up on my roof rack, which
if you notice the mount holes on the rings that are
also on the inside edge of the rings, these will be
where I mount brackets that will hold the rooftop
tent cross braces... Just plain sweet...

Sick I need a set for my ARB rack
How did you get the shovel and axe on the same mount.
Did you buy both set and installed it on one? Di you have to get a longer flat piece to get both to fit?

Bumpers, front and rear, along with the winch
and synthetic line...

I will be prolly making my own bumpers when
