After many, many years of only having a very out-of-date version this thread, here is an updated version!!
And as always if there is a standard production rear bumper I left out let me know on this thread or PM me and I can add it. And if something is confusing or unclear or you have additional info on missing pieces of information just let me know that as well and I can include it!

Very nice compilation, beyond that IMO paying more than $500 for a replacement bumper just seems crazy, especially when you consider you are adding weight and giving up factory feature in some cases, given they are much more durable and off-road worthy. Some of the manufacturers do have some nice products that are completely compatible with factory features and even include other nice options, but the cost just seems ridiculous? I'd like to see a piece of structure that sits inside of the factory bumper fascia that is compatible with all factory options and offers additional mounting points for additional features. It could be aluminum or steel, maybe steel for a lower cost solution and aluminum for a more expensive lightweight solution? This would retain the factory look except for some small amount of cosmetic relief for the additional mounting points.

Yeah if someone made one that looked factory but maybe had those additional recovery points and was a little lower profile that would be cool!
But I really like how low profile the Metal Tech Red Eye bumper is. It is definitely the best departure angle bumper there is, they said the only thing that limited them was the rear factory body mounts. But I've seen some who do custom cutting and trimming like you do with the regular BMC and then the FJ has a very nice departure angle! However not everyone wants to do major cutting and trimming and to keep it as only "bolt-on" as possible you have to make sacrifices.
I had narrowed my favorites to two, (EXP1 or Demello), then your post and now I like that LOD one the best, maybe, I think. Clean lines, backup lights, tug points, hitch provision. Do you have it? Was it easy to install?

I don't have it (yet ) but also like it.
One think I do not like about it is that all the weight is going to that pivot with no support on the right end. Was planning if I do go for it to fabricate sort of supporting deck as I saw one member here on the forum did.
It is a little more cost effective...
I have the original Red Eye & love it. I have bashed the crap out of it even with the better departure angles. I am going to put a hitch into my rear frame. I hit it all of the time when wheeling.

Wondering where in the GCC ( Saudi, UAE , Bahrain,...) i could go with my FJ to get some propper mods in..?! Lift, bumber, snorkel,...
Contacted the ARB dealer in Dubai, seems they are out of business..
thanks!
I recently put some White Knuckle Rock Sliders on and the wife is now wishing there was more of a step. I don't want new sliders, but I'm wondering if anyone knows of a decent clamp-on/bolt-on solution?
I've done some digging and found there used to be someone named streetacos that made them...
Were proud to introduce TJM Stealth winches. These are in our opinion the best bang for your buck. But with that being said I will be testing one in our company 4runner over the next several months to confirm what I already believe.
When TJM set out to do a winch they could have done just...
Yesterday I had the opportunity to install some brand new skid plates from Ricochet Offroad right here in Utah. Just figured I would mention a couple notes about the install process to help those doing future installs.
So the instructions are pretty good that they give you but one thing I am...
I've been considering the addition of a winch to my front bumper. This would be just for safety. I've been using the FJ for about 2 years and only once I had to be winched out by another vehicle, but in that case, having my own winch would not have helped. I don't intend to do anything that...
