You going to post some before and after pics of the body mount chop?...I'm doing mine next week it would be helpful to know what will be the best way to do it. I will be running 34's or try 35's if I can get them to fit without rubbing with the DR. Thanks again LarryI chopped the body mounts before putting the 305's (34 inch tires) on the FJ but I do have some rubbing issues. That's one of the reasons I visited Demello Offroad today. In addition to the new stuff, we're going to do a more aggressive body chop and it's difficult to describe the way it rubs, but it doesn't look like it's going to be much work to eliminate the problem. (famous last words -- I think Napoleon said that about the British on the eve of Waterloo)
 Yeh, I have seen the pics of Todds (Air2air) :cowsmile:I think that will do it but if we need to be more aggressive, we will be. That's one thing that Jason Demello is not shy about (aggressive modification to suit the purpose).
My next mod will be the SHADOW MOUNT if Mr. Shadow will get off his Stealth Black TRD SE FJ and get to work --- come on --- your public is demanding the SHADOW MOUNT!
The rear bumper and the SHADOW MOUNT will be the next mods --- unless those are a ways off.
Thanks Todd for the encouragement, but YOU have the ultimate build buddy! I will nowhere come close to that. But your there Todd to give us little guys something to daydream about. I will say this, I am looking forward to hitting the trails with you along with Larry in the Scorpion. I can see now, next years Summit in Ouray is going to be a blast! I may have to make it out to the Left coast one day and do some riding with everyone out there :cowsmile:Shadow is gonna have an awesome build, we all know that'll be something.
Gotta get him out to Cali somehow and raise some dust with the Scorpion.
uphill, saw your rear crossmember on this new list and I'm gonna look that up to see what it's about...
:rofl:As my wife knows, I have had a $500.00 budget to build up the FJ and I've stretched the pennys with group buys, coupon clipping and so forth to stay within my budget. She's consented to another $50 for the Wet Okoke Seat Covers because of the group buy discount...:indifferent:
I don't know about all that, you should have been a politician the way your spreading it around there, but thanks anyways buddy :cowsmile:SHADOW WARRIOR (Mike) is very kind to me -- but I will never have a stealth black FJ the way his is with all of the cool stealth black stuff on it no matter how hard I try.
A truer statement has never been said than that! The cool thing about modified FJ's is that we are ALL DIFFERENT. AIR2AIR's rig, MISSFJ's rig and BECHTOLD's rig (while different in concept) are UberFJ's and there is no way most of us can do anything but dream...
I'm sure all the rocks Tremble when the Scorpion is coming down the pathHowever, I do enjoy the (SCORPION), crush rocks with it -- and sometimes the rocks crush back. I hoped that the rear differential armor painted to match the Don't Tread On Me Flag would have made the rocks fear my FJ, but it made no difference at all.:silly:
It Looks great buddy. Wear it proud!Since there is a detailed "sticky" on this particular mod by SHADOW-WARRIOR, I won't go into details except to say that I followed his mod example.
Thus SCORPION has earned the right to wear the (coveted) SCUBA DRIVER sticker.
Thanks Buddy...I checked out your build thread a little, I haven't had a chance to go all the way through it yet. It looks like you did a very complete job, very nice Sean. I've got to hit the road again in the morning to LA. I'll be back on tomorrow night. Just needed a little brake from it all the :silly:Good to see you around again Mike. We missed ya around here the last few days.
Ok Todd, break out the pics of Larry getting a hair cut, I want to see him with that little bib:cowsmile:I'm thinking of painting it A2A Blue. I hear that there's an overstock on the color and that Jason is arranging a discounted group buy.
Actually I'm greatful that you didn't post pictures of me getting my hair cut. Maybe I'll stick with the Titanium color.
Thanks for posting the "I spotted you pictures!"
Nice list buddy. I too keep a survival pack in my vehicles.

Is the FJ towing a boxcar?
Hey, Guys. All my stuff fits in a small back pack and Military butt pack. Not much room at all. I tried to have a well thought out kit that is compact. It's not all that badWait a second Mike and Larry. But especially Mike. Now that is unreal. I have to X2 FJamming on this one. I will just make sure to always go with one of you and I won't have to bring s**t.
