Do you have preferred or favorite all-terrain tires to recommend? Originally had stock Dunlap Grandtrek AT20 265/70-17. Current set is H/T but I want to go back to A/T even though I don't go off-road much. My 2007 (bought it in '06) has 50K miles. All input appreciated .Thank you.

All good suggestions. That is some low miles for your 07. Mine only has 87,000 miles so not bad as well.

I had the Yokohama Geolandar A/T G015 E on my 2007 FJ Cruiser for a couple of years and absolutely loved them. They are super smooth, quiet and give excellent traction. The Geolandar A/T G015 comes in a P metric and E load rated. I had the heavier E tires on my FJ. If you don't off-road you could go with either one.

Here is a link to them on our web site:

I'm in the same boat (coming up on needing new tires... got ~65k out of the KOs on my 2011 trail team). Want to move up to 285s (realize I'll need to go up 3", plus I am about to put on warrior front bumper w/ winch). I can find 285/75R16 KO2s, but when I search by vehicle they don't show up. Is there a reason these wouldn't fit?

Lots of good AT options out there. Tirerack.com and Tiresize.com are both very helpful when looking for tires. If you asked me, I'd choose to be in the hybrid zone between an AT and an MT, like the Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac, Cooper ST Maxx, or a aggressive AT like the BF Goodrich K02. Other good options I'd consider would be the new Firestone MT2, General Grabber X3, or Falken Wildpeak MT or AT3W.

I second the Falken Wildpeak AT3 `s. I got a set a year ago and they still look new. I offroad a couple times a month and they work great in snow. Oh yeah they are a good price also. :)
