The only size they make for a 17 that would fit with a 3" lift is a 33x12.50r17. They are a wide tire so they may not fit on a stock wheel since the b/s is not made for a wide tire like that. You might be able to run spacers and will have to do the body mount chop. I love that tire. I would think you could get at least 25,000 maybe 30k out of them. It all depends on all often you rotate them, if you drive a lot of highway miles etc.

I'm sorry, they do make a 305/70r17 also. That might work better. Their website says the width is 12.01 and 33.07 tall. When you calculate a 305/70 out on discount tire.com it says, 33.81 is the height and 12.01 is the width.

i would go off of their website not the calculator.

This is how the tire sizes are calculated from the metric thing.
305 is 305mm of tire width. which is 30.5 cm
2.54cm = 1inch
30.5cm*(1inch/2.54cm) = 12.007 inches wide.

the 70 is 70%. As in the side wall height is 70% of the width. 12.007*.7 = 8.4" sidewalls.

To calculate the diameter of the wheel, you have two sidewalls plus the diameter of the rim, 8.4 + 8.4 + 17 = 33.81

HOWEVER, MOST tire sizes are not exactly what is printed on the side. So you will see a 35x12.50, and then on that tires website, actual size is 34.75 or something of that nature.

So, in conclusion, go by a tire companies website for exact sizing, not by calculations.

I think a lot of people run 285/70/17 BFG AT's on the stock rim with that OME lift. I know I did and had no rubbing probs at all. Changed wheels and went to the same size Goodyear DuraTrac's and now have some rubbing on my cut front mud flaps. Body mount chop was also required for these tires.
