Top 10 FJC Mods

I think it would be a good idea to batch up all the exterior/interior mods and do a top 10 thread.Some mods are cheap as far as money and others are hell of expensive.Everyone is keeping a closer eye on there wallet and the top 10 mods should reflect how much it cost to mod.Maybe a moderator can set it up so can can vote for the mod.I'll start a list then at the end we can choose.Thanks

A few suggetions::bigthumb:

painted bezel
painted bumper wings
rear door fold out table ( Fjamming mod)
CB headliner mod with bandi mount
Front bumper (All Pro in my opinion) to give more front tire clearance
Sceptor gas tank
Shovel/Axe mounted on roof rack
painted door handle/mirrors
Body mount chop
mud flaps removal
rear cargo area storage
roof rack add ons
remove all emblems/paint emblems black
paint rear bumper wings
Diff breather mod
Snorkle
Rock Rails (under 400)
upgrade light bulbs (Front)
Add a extra 12 volt
Add a PA system
car horn
window vents
dual battery
locking gas cap
ect..

Cool idea. Then when the top 10 are chosen, place a link next to each with the best thread on the process. Might really help some folks out!

good idea on the link.I think the person who started that specific thread should take the credit for the mod.It would make it easier to find the mods :rocker:

I like this idea alot. People need to watch there wallets...well more so me.

Headliner mounted CB radio w/Bandi mount
Tint (because it's HOT!!)
Front bumper (All Pro in my opinion) to give more front tire clearance
Sceptor gas tank
Shovel/Axe mounted on roof rack

Agree with Oscar:
front bezel black out
rear bumper black out

That's all I got...I would say lift kit...but that's a little more expensive.

I dunno, seems way too subjective to me. What I consider the top ten others may not. It all depends on you intended use of your rig. All of the information as far as possible mods is already out there.

Now if you looking for the most performed/popular mods, it would be a pretty long list and would have to allow for multiple selections.

Not trying to build a list of 100's mods just the best/cost effective mods.Thats why I want to vote for them.

Are you asking us to list our top individual top ten mods or are you trolling for ideas for a poll? Like FJ Marine suggested, everyone's top ten will be different, based on their particular interests, needs and taste, but I'd certainly be interested in a poll of which 10 people like (or do) the most. Here's my top 10 list of mods (listed generically and in no particular order of priority) to my FJ:

Locking gas cap
Sunroof
Fog Lights (Bumper Mounted)
Front Winch Mount & Winch
Dual Battery
Louder Car Horn
Window Vents
Hi-Flow Air Filter
Cyclone Pre-Air Filter
Auxillary Gas Tank

You got the idea Tony.Low cost & effective mod.I might still have room for that table under the bags if I remove the lower net.

My latest, and currently my most favorite mod right now is the rear window strap/opener thing that keeps my back window open just enough to enjoy driving with the front windows down at speed.. Reduced wind buffeting considerably and I can park it for short periods of time without worrying about someone sticking their hands in.

Best $2 I've spent all year!
