Before I remove the skid plate to change front diff oil, can anyone tell me the torque specifications for the factory skid plate. I cannot find a reference for them in the repair manual. Thanks.

The required torque is 21 ft-lb.

We call them skid plates but in the FJ Repair manual they refer them as;

- No.1 Engine under cover x Body (Front skid)

- Rear Engine cover x Body (Back skid)
