We intend going to CKGR next year. Our recently acquired FJ 2014 Sport needs a towbar for our Cheetah off road trailer.
I have been quoted various towbars at approximately R7000-00, as well as a rear bumper by Gobi-X at R15000-00.
Where can I get sound advice regarding the choice and the fitting, near Melkbos/Blaauwberg/Milnerton/Northern suburbs?
I am not quibbling about the price, I would like a suitable quality towing set up.

I had the Gobi -X fitted. It’s really good, tough, fits well. Better than the original plastic bumper, with a well integrated trailer fitting.

I saw a Gobi-X here on a 80 series, yes seems a good piece of kit at a fair price and gives you storage options on the swing outs too.
