Transmission shudder advice

So I got the infamous shudder and quickly panicked and took it for a wheel balance hoping for the best.. still a shudder so I take it for a transmission fluid change shop calls and they tell me bad internal transmission so then I start really freaking out until I read more into it.. so I’m thinking to just go for a transmission flush and hope that solves it all. What would you guys recommend?

p.s I just hit 223k miles

Recovering the from the shudder is more of a drain, fill, drive 400-1000 miles do it again. I’m on my 3rd fill.

I have a 2007 with a rear shudder. Is that transmission? Someone stated that was common with the 07's. Do newer models fit as replacements? Any ideas are appreciated.
It's actually the torque converter, which is often reduced or fixed by changing out the transmission fluid. There is debate whether to do it slowly via 4-5 drain and fill cycles (when you drain, only about 1/4th) of the fluid comes out, or going all in and having Toyota or another shop flush the entire system all at once.

Also, Lubeguard ShudderFixx has been known to work wonders. It's not isolated to FJ's, I believe 4Runners and Tacoma's suffer the same issue.
