Toyota wants about $55 list for the TRD radiator cap that releases at 1.3 bar instead of 1.1; is it worth it for the extra stress it puts on the cooling system?

I have em since 2007.. It looks cool....I never noticed anything with performance..
I also Bought the TRD radiator cap... again it looks cool :bigthumb:

Put it this way, they couldn't sell a "high performance" TRD part for 5x the price of the OEM stock one if it wasn't slightly different. :bandit:

I have the TRD radiator cap and TRD oil cap. May not perform any better but I like the way they look under the hood with the TRD cold air intake and my red painted engine cover!

Not for me, for five times the price of a stock one. My factory original 1.1 Bar cap is still functioning perfectly after 120,000+ miles of Texas summers. Your Mileage May Vary.

Nice aesthetic addition under the hood, mild performance changes, cooling is aided a bit but overall not a bad addition if you got the extra cash.
