That is where I mounted my Parrot Bluetooth MKI9100 remote display.
These pictures are a great help. I have to ask as my clock fell back into/inside the dash, how exactly did you get this piece out? I tried to follow the thread, I see where it has the plastic locking pieces at the bottom and top, could you please walk me through how you removed this piece so I can re-install the LCD clock?This is a shot of my dash when I was replacing the center vent piece a couple days ago. You can see the opening where the clock goes. If you remove the clock from the center vent and push back the harness, you'll have about 5" to 6" of depth and about 4" of width between the vents.
