I have owned the FJ for 4 years but just got into modding and off-roading just recently. I'm currently running a 3" pro comp lift that is basically brand new but I just ordered a Demello three hoop bumper and Total Chaos UCAs. Because of the weight of the bumper I would like to upgrade the front suspension at a minimum. I'm not too worried about replacing the brand new lift because I got a rebate and it only cost $400. I'm considering going with the Fox Long Travel 2.5's with remote res ($1260) and leaving the rear alone for another 6 months to a year or going with the SAW complete suspension ($1485). I live in Southern CA and plan on wheeling in a variety of terrain (Big Bear, Borrego Springs, etc.) I would also like to maintain a 3" lift height or close to it. I'm new at this and would like to know which option would be better and why.
