I just got FJ (and love it) about a month ago. Took it in today to Toyota dealership for plug change and serpentine belt (neither had been done). They showed me the valve cover leak. Service advisor told me it was not bad and if it was his he would not worry about right now unless it got worse. FJ has 159,200 miles on it. What do you think about his recommendation? Thanks in advance.

Keep an eye on the ground under your parking spot. When you can't stand cleaning it up anymore, change both valve cover gaskets.

If you still see the leak, then check your rear main oil seal - that's what usually goes around 200-250K miles. It's about $700 to $900 to fix - gotta unhook engine to get to the seal...

Was the "leak" on the driver side by the oil fill neck?

Might be some spillage running down the neck and giving the impression of a leak.
