Went down to Discount Tire today to order two tires and finally replace the 5 TPMS modules, 10 years wasn't bad, one or more of them finally quit.

Also taking the opportunity to switch the Cooper STT Pros with my Cooper Discoverer A/T3's. Going to set the STT's aside on steelies for when I really need them. Need to find Toyota steel rims though.

Two of the A/T3's were basically new when I had them swapped out, so I ordered two new A/T3's. Will pick the best of the old ones for the spare.

STT's are LT285/70R17 and the A/T3's are LT275/70R17. With the 275's the speedo is right on the money. The 285's are 33.03" and the 275's are 32.17" in diameter. Both E rated.

I've had good wear and mileage with the Coopers.

The tires came in today (2ea Cooper Discoverer A/T3), added two new ones I had in the garage. Swapped them with the Cooper STT Pros and had 5 new TPMS modules added. Keep the best two of the other A/T3, for spares, one mounted.

Gone is the blinking TPMS light.

And, its snowing and sticking at 300' in Portland

It's been quite a while since I've been here (sadly)
Had been busy lately and didn't get the chance to...
But I think it's a good place to start
Cause I finally ordered Yukon 4.56 (w/ full master kit) and front Eaton E-locker 🥳🥳🥳

Can't wait for them to arrive and have them installed.

Need to roll back the caster.
When doing a front end lift without replacing the stock uca's the caster decreases, making it necessary to constantly overcorrect at higher speeds. The solution in most instances is to install aftermarket uca's and it will be easier to restore caster to stock spec (I believe minimum is about 2 1/2 degrees positive) or a little more. Increasing caster a little more than stock spec (1/2 degree or so) won't affect highway driving. In extreme cases (when caster is 1 degree or more than stock spec) it will make low speed steering a little harder, but with power steering it'll never be an issue.

Um…. The picture shows my aftermarket UCAs. When the wheels were installed, we got a little carried away with the caster adjustments. It needs to go back just a bit. I’m not a to squirrelly steering.
