It works for the passenger, but is pretty much useless for the driver. Going to modify the lid to extend it towards the driver.
Btw, what did you do about the position sensor on the driver's seat?
Gotcha

Took it off the FJ seat and placed it with a section of the seat frame in-between the sensor and zip tied it in place.

The sensor changes state of the seat was moved far forward to change the power of the airbag deployment. Where I have the seat positioned it was always back so this keeps the sensor in that state.

Did that make sense?

Yeah, although if somebody shorter needs to drive your truck, would not be very safe for them, unless you manually relocate the sensor. Or what if you sell it?

Just bolted up the new to me full set of Ricochet skids. It’s a pretty easy install as long as the previous owner hadn’t broken off 2 bolts and just left them in there. Buttmunch. Have to drill them out to finish up the install.
I think the suspension and bumper are an hour away at an undisclosed location. Soooo frustrating!

Extraction method out the dipstick yielded exactly 5L, so I see no reason not to do it from the top.

Except it takes 7L... You left 2L in there.

I looked at mine sitting there all alone in the shop this morning.
I just dropped mine off at the workshop... it was a little afraid going in there with all those Raptors and a Patrol being in there.
There's another couple of Raptors in the other bay.

Just be normal and drop it out the bottom. It's not that difficult and you can look for metallic parts as the drain slows down. They take 5 1/2 quarts with filter (5.2L), US market. Not sure what they take in the bottom half of the world.

IMO, after watching a guy wheeling through brush and having a branch come between the frame and skid plate only to flip his Fumoto open, I will never use one. Luckily somebody caught it but nobody had oil so it sat on the mountain for two days until they could get back up there and refill it. For the 30 seconds it saves you from just using a wrench or socket, what is the benefit really.
