Took the better part of five days, but accomplished the following work in preparation to tow my incoming Airstream Bambi 16rb:

• 7 pin tow harness: Universal kit with EBC hookup
• Electronic Brake Controller: Tekonsha Primus IQ
• Transmission cooler: Hayden 678 with Iconic bracket kit
• Transmission filter change and swapped out 10 quarts of fluid... almost a flush
• Added ScanGauge II to monitor transmission temperature
• Serviced all the driveline grease fittings
• Swapped out stock horn for Hella SuperTone set

Picker her up in almost final state. (Thinking about swapping the bully tune to uconn and decreasing the pulley size, and I’ll need to do the VSC off hack…)

I’ll have to post a shout out to the members that helped along the way… It’s been so long, parts shortage and all, that I need to dig out the names over the course of the threads and emails…Working on the build sheet.

A Craigslist post in Texas….. but that was just the charger (used). Intercooler (i think bag B) and hoses from LC engineering. URD with the cam gears, headers, AEM fuel pump, plugs and belts. Superchargers online (bag C and all gaskets for the rebuild. Facebook market place for the Bullydog via the Tacoma forums. Members here online helped with non Magnuson FIC injectors and general build out processes with questions I had. Lastly, ECGS full swap to 8.2 @ 4.88. Mine is an 07. The unit I got is ancient… with the TrD stamp (I know it just aesthetics), but 07-09 the 1GRFE was slightly different. I couldn’t speak to the later models….. other than I need to do this darn VSC off hack!!! Lol!

Are those factory rear speakers? Or fronts that have been repurposed?

They are aftermarket speakers. I just picked up factory speaker brackets and some metra(?) harnesses and they plugged right in.

Finished last night..this thing gets a spicy note when on the skinny pedal more 50%. Might be the cats or something vibrating against the chassis. Louder with header but quieter that it's flowing better than the log manifolds. Vibrant resonator not in yet though

Installed the Eibach Stage 2 lift which also fits the FJ, not just the 4 Runner. I just replaced my Bilsteins. You can read my review on the Eibach site. It's a big step up, 46mm Bore, has threaded spring collar adjustments, comes with a wrench, was easy to install and level the truck. Excellent ride quality and control - for daily driving and light to medium off road. Much better build quality than earlier Eibach entry level kits: Lift Kits, Lowering Springs, Race Springs, Shocks & Sway Bars

finished installing a Sherpa --Fuji Rack. Love the new look.
After dealing with the dreaded stripped Torx bolt-- only 1 out of 12 so felt lucky, the install was smooth and the fit is as advertised.

Tore out the original ebay seat heater pads from years ago and put in new heater pads. As you can see they burned holes in the stock seats so I no longer recommend the ebay pads. The new pads had female connectors on them and they needed to be male so I soldered new ones on. Hopefully they work well.

Replacing the clutch components, my throw out bearing has been squeaking for the last 2500 miles. Currently at 243,000 miles. Got everything out except the trans itself. Should be less awkward with the transfercase removed.

Got the OEM clutch kit installed and stabbed the trans. The only really worn item was the throwout bearing. Replaced the front driveshaft u-joints as well.
