While ordering the Bison folding table for the rear door (yet to be installed), I also ordered the Bison Gear Under Seat Accessory Bracket. I was already paying for delivery on the folding table so i thought, "why not..."

If you note the product website image captured below, the factory specific floor mat is not installed. I did not notice this while placing the order. I am disappointed in the design as it does not allow easy access to rotate the buttons to maintain the floor mats. I haven't installed an accessory and can only image once I do, it will impede further. Live and learn; at least it wasn't costly.

since I'm on an rant, I appreciate immensely how the factory floor mats have all these instructions molded into it. had it not been for "DRIVERS SIDE" labeled, i might have installed it in the trunk.

Changed the oil, coolant, air filter, cabin filter, greased the 4-5 zerts visible underneath, replaced the burnt out horn, and purchased a fire extinguisher to install. I installed the Orange Box Maxx for both sides in the back and am really impressed with the outcome. I have the Rotopax mounting plate for the roof rack and will install that soon. That will give me 6 gallons fuel/water/combo carrying capacity up top. Found those ideas here. Always nice to have both additional fuel and water while living here in Alaska.
Still trying to decide on what suspension to go but have my eyes on the Toytec & Billstein setup on FJ Pure.

The new replacement fuel line for the tank showed up finally so I was able to reinstall the gas tank. No more leaks, yay! I finally took the old girl out for a quick spin to make sure the tires were still round and that the brakes worked, since she has been sitting for 2 years waiting for me to rebuild the engine. Happy to report that all systems are now functioning as designed. I bought some insurance for her today. Now, she will get a good scrubbing and an appointment for her registration. Can't wait to hit some trails and go camping now.

Absolutely. I ordered some 10 series t nuts and bolts. I'll be making sides to build enclosures so the 4 locking lids are not entirely worthless.

Please post photos after you finish the sides! I would also like to see some pics with the lids open. Thank you in advance.

Norutah,
Love the set-up! (y)
When you get everything sorted, please give an update of your storage capabilities/concerns of the Goose Gear front plates.
I've been eyeing them for a while and would really appreciate any first hand knowledge of what to expect.
Thx!
Darrell
Ok, I finally got around to enclosing the goose gear seat delete boxes.

I swapped out my Fjammer radio with another Fjammer radio I bought so I can have a CD player that works. Removal and install are really simple to do and guess what the CD player doesn`t work either. It might be that the radios are 17 years old and they just don`t work anymore. The radio I replaced it with does sound better than mine did so not a total loss :)

The two batteries may be my best addition. Not for everyone but great for me.

I never really had a need for one…until now. Finally decided to add a fridge. Going to run a 12v panel to the back for power and will add charging ports and lighting. Don’t want to run the risk of draining my starting battery after a few too many cold ones!

It’s a dual battery kit that replaces original battery with 2 group 25s. I installed an earlier version of what you see in the link below. Along with a voltage booster to increase alternator output for the AGM batteries.

Thanks for the info; looks like a very cool kit, and a neat way of doing a dual battery set up.

Ok, as promised, here is what I packed into the bins. The entire contents from two Costco collapsible totes.
An ARB bag Jack.
2AWG 25' jumper cables.
15" rubber pac boots/socks
Wrench roll with 8 extra long ratcheting box wrenches 2 sizes on each.
Weather bag of matches/fire starter wafers/Flint and steel etc.
Bag of tire plugs/patches/glue.
Gloves.

A little room to spare.

On the floor between the front seat backs and the Goose Gear I slide an ice scraper, golf umbrella, and a roll of paper towels.

More common items like tow strap, and rings, med kit, TP, breaker bar, folding buck saw, x-long zip ties are in a orangebox fab basket on the ds rear wheel well.

Winch remote, spline drive socket and extension are with the factory Jack.

Next plan is to utilize the cup holders in the rear doors, since I have no rear seats. And get smaller jumper cables and return these monsters to the diesel. Also, fresh pair of coveralls I'm a vacuum space bag under the PS front seat.

Long story, but ending is, I'm decently packed for medium adventure and my cargo area is wide open for the dogs or bedding.
