Just finished a 2,100 mile trip to Zion, Flaming Gorge, Dinosaur Monument, Arches, Canyonland, and Moab.

While on White Rim, ran into another FJ owner, who flew from Idaho to Colorado to buy their TTUE. His wife told him on way home to use the FJ as intended. It was very nice to see an excited owner on day 1 of FJ ownership.

With the whole "Coronavirus" putting Seattle and the surrounding cities in uber panic mode, we went on a drive to get out of the house yesterday. Nothing crazy, nothing too far off the beaten path, it was just nice to get away from the people, media and all the crowds of panic shoppers.

I am back from south of Agleria.

FJ was fantastic altough soft sand and difficult sand dunes. The longest leg of this trip without any sign of civilization was 8 days. I had to carry 55 gallons of fuel. The whole trip lasted 3 weeks including transit from Europe.

Went to Southeastern Utah near where I live during my Spring Break to travel a section of the historic San Juan Trail used by the Hole in the Rock Pioneers. It was here that my love of off-roading really began, and it was neat being able to visit here again. Tested out my new rear long travel shocks, and it was great!

A little comparison shot of my first FJ and my current FJ flexing on the same rock in the same spot a few years apart.

Took the FJ out and broke quarantine to go get the ok from the doc about my knee. he took out the stitches, was impressed with how much i can bend, cleared me to get back on a bicycle but no "stupid things". That covers almost everything I do.
I really have been enjoying the rear window opener. Money very well spent on that!

This is what social distancing looks like, Wyoming style...

This last one is looking up at Gelm Observatory. It used to be the highest telescope in the world. We couldn't get up there all the way as the snow was getting deeper and there wasn't enough to winch to. Good day out and about, the Mrs had a great day picking willows and getting out of the house.
