Fire today not to far from my house. man made luckily the wind was blowing away from the houses in the area and it ran up and over the ridge. they got aircraft on it quickly. going to be a bad fire season here if we do not get rain. we have three Major fires one on the North rim of the Grand Canyon 61000 plus acres, The Bush Fire over 150000 acres, and the Big Horn fire 42000 acres.

Finally got to go off-roading this summer after working on the FJ for the past month and a half. Was a good shake down run of all the work I've been doing. Traveled up La Plata Canyon to Kennebec Pass with the good old FJ and got to watch the sunset this evening. Took my parents with me and we had a good time!

Up to Mt Hood to run part of the Old Barlow Road (on the east side)

The last image, looking west, barely see Mt Hood

Click for larger image (hmm, doesn't seem to work for all)

Ran Seven Mile Rim yesterday! Check out the video I made of the trip!

I've run the 7-Mile Rim trail in 2018 during the MB4S but our group did not attempt the Wipeout Hill. I had goose pimples when I saw it in person, and you just navigated it with no sweat, my full salute.

Well believe me, when I first looked at it I was like, "No thank you." But the guy I was with was a daredevil about everything and was going to do it one way or another so after I saw how easy he did it I figured I could do it too. I didn't catch it on video but my first attempt up the bottom section of Wipeout my front driver tire came off the ground which wasn't a fun feeling but I when straight up no problem on my second attempt!
