These Basecamps are so cool....they are built for the backcountry and mine has a 3" lift. Airstream really designed this thing thoughtfully. And, I think it pairs quite well with the FJ! And, well, the FJ gets a little thirsty with it back there. I think I got about 10.5 miles/gallon (although it felt like 10.5 gallons to the mile!). My FJ is supercharged and on the heavy side with mods, but let's just say there were plenty of bathroom breaks on the way up!
I dig your slogan. (y)

We did the Whipsaw (Whipsaw Creek, near Princeton, British Columbia) yesterday. With it's new OME suspension, SPC upper control arms and 285/70-17 BF Goodrich AT TA's our '08 Sandstorm performed flawlessly! Can't say the same for a few Jeeps we saw, and a bone stock Suburban- I don't think he'll even make it out! I'll have to see what my son took for pics...

Yesterday my family and I went on a day trip to Silverton in search of mountain goats. We ran Stony Pass, Assata Gulch, and Little Giant Basin. It was a great day with family with beautiful scenery, fun trails, and good food! (Handlebars for lunch in Silverton and Happy Pappy's for dinner in Durango.) No goats were found but the trails were great!

Took the niece and nephew out for a spin (they don't like the Tacomama), did some light off road and had to burn some Victory Donuts in the dirt.

They were supper stoked and I have rightfully restored my position as #1 Uncle.

Saturday - Exploring Wadi Shawka. A really nice drive. Spotted and spoke to the owner of an original Camel Trophy Range Rover.

You might have a good idea. The Tillamook Forest is open again and a mushroom recon mission this weekend would be a way for me to learn what's in my backyard. What it look like up there?
