hi.
i been trying to instal a PIONEER AVIC-X920BT to my FJ, and i can't find the power supply cable for the parking Brake Switch so i can connect the light green lead to it. i know i can bypass all this but i rather not. can i get any help plz. :alfdance:

The parking brake is a switch that pulls an input on the ECU to ground. It does not have 12V on it. When the P-brake is engaged, it is pulled to ground, else it is floating.
The switch itself is by the p-brake lever itself. You'll have to remove the center console to get to it. Shouldn't take more then 5min to pull it.

Just ground that parking sensor wire with the black ground wire. If you are running navigation it makes it a lot easier to re-route without having to pull over and set the brake. Even if you do not want to reset the nav while driving, if you have someone else with you they can do it. My wife rereoutes mine all the time
