Well everyone here is your chance to vote for which state in the U.S. has the best off-roading! In the future maybe we will do a world-wide vote for the best country or continent!

So where in the U.S.A. has the best wheeling opportunities? Vote here! Comment and tell us why you chose where you chose! :bigthumb:

Colorado
I love the variety of terrain.
Desert, mountains, snow, rocks, mud, beauty, mining roads, forests, ghost towns, history...
You don't have to pay every time you turn around for entrance to 4WD areas.
Grew up camping, fishing, exploring wheelin'

I live in TX, but didn't vote for here due to no free access to land.
We have some great wheeling, but not the same freedom as out west.
Outside of TX, I've wheeled in AZ and loved it! There are some great places to wheel, camp and get away.
As I visit more states my vote might change but till then... AZ.

Texas still has the best get together though!!! Lone Star Toyota Jamboree! :D

Voted for California. Giant state where you can find the deserts of Anza Borrego or the mountains of the Eastern Sierra range and SO much more. HUGE variety of terrain. Colorado is a close 2nd.

Dont forget the state's great dune areas; pismo, glamis, and buttercup.

A little surprised NM hasn't had more votes yet. There are tons of places all over the state. Not just desert wheeling either. Lots of forest roads in the mountains and off road trails, especially in northern New Mexico.

I don't have any pics of mountain wheeling but here are some desert shots. ;)

New to wheeling and have only done it in my state of Oregon. We have a great variety here though, sand dunes, forest trails, in the desert, up in the mountains and lots of snow in the winter. Next week I am headed to Moab though and I am really looking forward to that!
