I like the retro look of the white bezel... not too crazy about it on my Black Diamond though. Maybe best on the lighter colors. I just bought another bezel. I'll change them to suit my mood.:worried:

I think it looks great too!

Why not see how you like it with a 'blacked out' front before you go back?

Here's a photo-shopped rendition of what it looks like!

The white bezel looks as good on your BD as any other rig. I'd keep it.

Thanks everybody - I have a constantly changing opinion of it. Sometimes I think it looks great and then I'll walk back to it in a parking lot and I'll think it looks like a cartoon FJ.

I appreciate the feedback.

I have a Black Diamond one and a white one.

I like the white better , it makes the RA bumper stand out more.

I used Dupli-Color Wheel Paint. Sanded it lightly and gave it about 5 or 6 coats. This paint dried really fast between coats. Removing the grille is the only way to do this.

Thanks Dom. I wanted to do the Ol School Retro FJ40 look as I used to own one and the white bezel and wheels just go with the white roof. IMHO

Just finished the white bezel and "toyota" emblem... I also blacked out the stock bumpers, mirrors, and handles.

I used Rustoleum flat white and then some clear coat. Matches the roof pretty well.

Now I just can decide to do the wheels white or black. I think black... maybe.

White here... Krylon Fusion for plastic. It's held up well to Midwest winters (salt, sand, rocks) and the spring bugs.

I went to a local shop called Silver Automotive and had the guy match the white of the roof rack and put it in a spray bomb. I spent about 30 minutes meticulously prepping by sanding the bezel then used the entire can on the bezel. Turned out great!
