We do.....but we are in the process of replacing the motor and filter.....soo
it is a mess right now.

We hope to host a pool party sometime this Summer.

I will even provide GPS coordinates to the center of the pool for anyone with a snorkel. But be forewarned....it is a DIVING POOL.

And pools.....my theory is that pools are like marriage.....once you realize the maintenance out weighs the fun........the least complicated way to solve the problem is to................SELL THE HOUSE and move on.

THIS HEAT SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!! :mecry:

Hey, the weather is just starting to get good! I'm thinking about turning on the A/C, but it's not quite hot enough yet... besides, I'm enjoying the $8/month electric bill.
You are a psycho!

But living in Tuksun is cheating. You all typically rate about 5 degrees lower than Hades. :badrazz:

I didn't turn our AC on until it went over 104.....but I can't say I smelled very pretty in the mean time.

I am HIGHLY jealous of your AC bill nonetheless.

That is the "downside" of having a pool. Yes, people there is a downside....when you don't want to get in the pool because it's not refreshing......UGH! Me and the baby...well, mainly me...are going STIR crazy!

Do you have an aerator? I run my aerator from about 10pm until 5am and it cools the pool significantly. On Monday around 4pm the pool was up to 91 degrees--we have a smaller, more shallow 'party pool' equipped with a basketball hoop and volley-ball nets and the deepest point is 5' so it warms up quick; I turned the aerator on and it dropped to 88 degrees after that first night--and I checked it about 5pm. I haven't checked it since but I suspect it's probably even lower now.

My aunt has a really large diving pool and her average temp seems to be about 85, lucky thing--and she even has a wading platform with a depth of only 6" built into the sucker, and it warms the water very quickly and significantly, so her aerator is a necessity to get the pool to cool off.

Hey Kat, we got a lap pool..

When we set it up on our patio, we can put enough water in to cover our laps...

...see you Saturday......... :rofl::rofl:

Yeah, I don't have a grill. I've been asking for one for two summers now.

On the flip, I do have a pool table....buried under a bunch of stuff at the moment. My house wouldn't be a bad party spot were it not for all the crap we're dealing with right now. I would totally host a gathering if I wasn't up to my eyeballs in bull****.:boohoo:

I'm sorry to hear that!!! Check this grill out: Smokin Pro BBQ Smoker

We found it at Fry's for $150 last October, you should check there. They have good deals!

If we get a kiddie pool, party at our place.....four people at a time....

It really is perfect for youngins and the folks and this winter you don't have to mess with it.

Modelo/lime, a smoke, it makes the heat abit more tolerable.

LOL.....well how much are you spending on electricity to cool your pool?

Isn't it odd to cool it from evening until just about the time the sun comes up to ZAP it hot again?

We really rarely use the pool. I sometimes sunbathe mid day and at one time we let the dogs retrieve floating toys, but balancing the chems after doggie use got to be expensive (four mastiffs)

BTW I read about your home woes....I don't know if I can help at all.

I have been out of the business for a few years.....but before that I was a residential kitchen, new build and remodel specialist. (basically a structural designer/spaceplanner, interior designer*********as opposed to a DECORATOR*********.)

I do don't do decorator. That's girlie stuff. :ugh:

I don't keep in contact with too many people in the business anymore....but if I can do anything to help or get you someone who can, I will try.
