why didnt i get colored door panels??!!!??

ok.. i was just informed tonight, that i am supposed to have colored panels on the insides of the doors? front and rear???
mine came with black inside, and i have the titanium colored FJ.
anyone have any idea.. or has anyone else also received the black door panels??
i purchased my FJ in march of 07' ... i dont know if that has anything to do with it or not... but.. i plan to visit the dealership tomorrow and start asking some questions!!!

i dont have a pic of the panels on my pc, as it is a recent purchase.. but there are pics of them on my blogspot which is where someone noticed them.. i think theyre on the second page of older posts....

no.. i take that back.. they are on the very first page that loads

my soapy stuff .... and other things

any info on this subject is much appreciated!!!

The color coordinated panels only come with the upgrade package.

did you get a stock FJ? The color matched panels usualy only come on option package 1 or 2.

i wasnt given the option!

i have the upgrade... so.. that means.. im gonna go raise you know what at toyota tomorrow... and seeing as how my family has purchased 17 of our last cars from them... they better friggin come through for me!

Strange, maybe they switched them with another vehicle. I thought all that stuff was put on at the factory.

i dont know.. but i plan to find out tomorrow.. im looking right at the window sticker that was on the car when i bought it.. it shows the upgrade... so.. im curious to know why they arent silver like my FJ

I bet you mean you have one of the "Extra Mile Option Package"s (Letters A-F). All of these packages you can get without getting either Upgrade Package. Just make sure you are absolutely sure before you go to the dealer. If you're legit, then get yourself some accessories out of it! =)

That means you have no A-Trac which is a easy fix if you have the locker.

You should get what you paid for although IMO all black is nice

Outside of the distributorship area you live in, we do not have to deal with the "extra mile" packages......it's a GST thing.

Look on your Monroney label, if it has UR or UP as an option, you should have colored door panels.

Aren't they dealer installed? I thought they were shipped "in a bag" like the mats, etc. and were actually installed by the dealer.. Ron

Door panels are not dealer installed, it's shipped with them attached.

I also have black and prefer it. The painted panels scratch easier (in my opinion).

You can purchase the color matched front door panels for around $285 a piece!

well, youre right .. i definitely should have colored panels.. they said they would get them for me.. but you know.. im blacking out my FJ... and well.. ive had it for over a year now, and its hard for me to even imagine them being a different color than they already are... i was just shocked to learn that most upgrade FJ's have the colored panels inside and mine didnt!!

they didnt have an answer as to why mine didnt have them. strange.
maybe i should get them.. just to have them and technically i was supposed to have them, but maybe ill not put them on? i really like it all black inside other than the bits on the dash.
