Looking to replace my CV axles, what's the best replacement.

I have been trying to find new ones to have as spares for when the need arises. This is the information I have been given at local and any dealership I have contacted in my travels (work & personal) in NA.So Toyota can source new axles for current FJ production, but won't sell the same new axles as replacement parts?

In my own personal experience, I've had two aftermarket half shafts fail. Each time required a tow home ($) and then purchase of another one ($). One time the inner joint came apart and cracked the transmission housing ($$). Based on those experiences, it is far cheaper to pay $400 for the OEM ones, and re-boot them for $40 when the time comes.
