Do I need anything else with my lift?

hey everyone, i have yet to get the chance to get my lift installed so i thought i'd ask if there is anything i am unaware of that i need to change to go along with this set-up?
i've got the fox 2.0 coil-overs for the front which will be a 2" lift and then the fox 2.0 shocks (0-1.5") to go with the saw 1.5" coils.
anything else i should do? i'm pretty confident that uca's won't be an issue with only 2"s of lift but maybe there is something else i am missing.

thanks!!

You have not mentioned it as part of your kit, you "may" need Sway bar relocate spacers, and ideally new longer rear sway bar links, but many miss this step..... depends on what you will do use wise with your FJ. Your also going to need a front end alignment.
I just noticed where you live... You must think about getting shock boots for the rear shocks, your Winterpeg winter roads will destroy the chrome shock shafts in no time at all.
Cheers

i'll definitely being getting an alignment. what would be the affect of not doing the sway bar relocate spacers or the longer sway bar links. i'll be doing some off roading but nothing too crazy and not too often.

The larger shock body diameter/spring may contact the front sway bar, and at the back the longer links allow you to maintain the factory load on the rear sway bar, allowing the rear to ride softer, smoother. Any winter roads will blow out the shock shaft, for that matter gravel roads.

i would also suggest an ome 10mm spacer to place on top of your drivers side rear spring. it will help reduce the drivers side lean. i ended up using two of them.

those springs are going to give you more than 1.5" of lift on a stock vehicle. if you have an aftermarket bumper, it may only give you 1.5. ..but i got at least 2" out of them. since you got the shocks for a 1.5" lift, make sure you're not over extending them at full droop. you may need the ones for the 2"-3" lift.

also, you'll probably notice that your axle will be shifted towards the passenger side. to correct it, you'll need an adjustable track bar. it's not absolutely imperative, but it's definitely noticeable that the axle is not centered.

Thanks for the replies!
It's starting to sound like it's not worth it for the small1.5-2" of lift I'm going for in the back, maybe I'll start with the coil-overs and shocks and leave out the saws and see how level I'm sitting.

How many miles and what year is the FJ?

I recently installed a Radflo 2.5 kit on my 08 with 150k. I also replaced the swaybar endlinks, UCAs and sway bar bushings.

I would take a glance at the other suspension parts to see if anything needs replacing. Now would be the time if its needed. check the CVs for cracks also.
