I am looking for what may be needed to resolve the warning light that came on my dash. 2 weeks ago I just bought a dealer fleet 2007 TRD Special Edition and just turned 30,064 miles and a maintenance required light came on. no manuals, only found the one online, needs oil change is this all and how do you reset warning light. This is a great forum I like the info. My wife took me on a sunset tour on Hells Revenge in Moab and I'm hooked!!!! Wanna be Rock Hopper Thanks for any help !!

All it means is you need an oil change. To turn it off :
1. Make sure your display is set to ODO
2. Turn the key to OFF
3. While vehicle is off, press and hold the TRIP RESET knob
4. While holding the knob, turn the key all the way but DO NOT START.
5. Continue to hold the knob and you should see some little lines and when they count all they way down, you can release.
This should be good for another 5000 miles. I do this after every oil change.

It actually comes on every 5000 miles after being reset. It will blink at first a few hundred miles before 5000 miles and stay on steady a few hundred miles after 5000 miles. 5000 miles being the recommended oil change interval on the Fj using Dino oil.
Try to get a manual from the dealer or off eBay. Lots of good stuff in it about your FJ.
