Opinions on auxillary light mounting location

I am looking to add some driving/fog lights to my FJ. Mostly this will be for looks, but I like having the option for more light if I ever end up needing it.

I have been looking at how everyone has been adding fog lights and I have decided I want to keep the top of the bumper clean for now. I saw these two trucks and really liked the light locations:

With the second pic though, Id only be looking to do 2 lights in the bottom grill, not 4.

I think I am drawn to the larger Hella lights, partly because I love the look of the Eleanor Mustang from Gone in 60 Seconds :) I think both give a pretty clean looking install with a nice custom look, but I thought I'd ask to get some opinions either way to see what you all thought before I decide. Also, the fact that I can get some Hella 500's for less that half the cost of some Rigid LEDs is also appealing. Some Hella Black Magic 500s or some yellow ones might look pretty sweet.

The second truck is mine.:)
I really like how they fit in the bottom. Less of a target for rocks and thieves. The ones closer to the middle are the new Rigid DOT fog lights. They are truly incredible. If you want, I have pics with them off and with them on that I can post up. To show light output.

Cheers!

Some states regulate the number of forward facing lights you may install on your vehicle. I believe in my state you can have a maximum of 6 forward facing lights. On my FJ that means my headlights are a pair, add the additional lights provided by the forward face of the side view lights, not to mention the possible inclusion of fogs or flood lights which are normally run on the front air dam or dash....

If you want to run more, I would suggest plastidipping your mirrors including the light. It looks pretty cool, no light shines through. I don't think I have a pic from before peeling the dip off the light but I'll check.
