Question about machine screw size in engine bay

Hey Everyone, so I am doing an LED light upgrade on the brush guard on my FJ and need to secure a relay. I saw someone do this on a video...there are two handy, empty holes machined for screws/bolts inside the engine bay, just under the hood on the driver's side body wall. I am attaching photos below of these two holes...perfect spot for what I need. My question is, does anyone know what size screws fit into these locations? I tried what I had on hand, and nothing would work...they seem to be north of about 7 mm, but the standard FJ 10 mm may be a little big. I am definitely a novice tech person...so size, thread angle, etc...any info would help me out greatly. Thanks in advance.

I used those exact holes to mount an aluminum plate carrying a 50A marine circuit breaker protecting the wiring to my cargo-bay mounted ARB air compressor and fridge. 2014 FJs have three weld nuts in that area, I utilized all three.

I'm pretty sure the weld nuts are M8. I'll pull one of the bolts tomorrow and verify diameter and thread pitch.
