Stock Toyota receiver hitch question

I have a 2013 TT with the Toyota low profile receiver hitch installed. My question can you use an EQ hitch (weight distribution) with these ? It says they exceed ALL towing specs. I only wonder because I just looked at a new Tacoma and the Hitch on those looks more like what I am use to towing with on previous vehicles. I have a popup trailer that runs around 2700 pounds loaded and want the extra security and stability the EQ hitch provides but I would hate to go over a bump and tear the rear end off my beautiful TT.

For all those curious the answer should be "yes". I did a search in google and asked some questions of some experienced towing experts. All agree that because of the way the FJ frame runs and how the hitch is mounted it wil be very strong and the distribution hitch will not cause issues.

It felt like a stupid question when I asked it in the first place. Just being paranoid I guess.
