They still project amber! I went pretty dark probably 4-5 coats.. You should b fine with 2-3 coats. Here is the link

what happened to your third vision x light dave?

 

Did you see the cleghorn video?? When the front end came down the base of the light broke. It was just the mounting bracket and one side was already cracked.. I considered JB welding it a couple days ago but figured I wasn't going to be doing any offroading... Damn lastminute trips!

 

did you add that metal plate where the lights are?

 

Yes their is a flat plate there. I can take a picture with demensions if you want to make one.. Simple 1/8 rectangle sheet..

One side was already broken and I had a feeling it wasn't going to last so it was expected.. Luckly Hector was filming so I was able to take it off instead of losing it!

okay I decieded to build a new roof rack.. Here are some pics.. It's a pretty tuff job trying to build it without a real tube bender but I'm doing my best..
Today I got the lower half almost complete.. Steal needs some more crossbars and mesh bottom

I'm using 1" 085 tubing
