The big island, I'm torn on what to get sliders or front bumper next. I have no protection for the sides right now, but then again my front bumper is getting beat up already some rock rash. What do you guys think?

 

Do you have a write-up on the kragens install?

 

It's not as hard as it looks if you get thinner lights it would give more room to work with.

I totally agree with this.
Front bumper is easily and often a replaced part.... door and body damage not so much.

Now that is something I did not know. Thats crazy! You guys should call these companies out on that one. Could you hook up with someone in the Military. Dont they get special allowances for shipping? Just wondering.

 

That's true about the military maybe I'll look into that, ****ty thing is all the stuff I want is big and heavy now. Baja basket, front bumper, sliders. I'm seriously looking at 600+ in shipping for that stuff lol

on that note on top of making the cows run away, when we first got to the mudd hole there we're two Hawaiian NeNe geese, highly endangered. Watching us for a bit then got bored and took off.

actually where we were they keep the cattle out since too many of them were getting stuck in the mud. it was fun but man im still cleaning mud off the fj and the engine bay is still a disaster

In case you are still building Toyotas, can you elaborate on how you did the smoked headlights please? Not that much good info out there on that topic and I want to build my FJ to look just like your front end.

There was a company called Aeroflow or something similar that made covers for motorcycles and then FJs and others. They had clear and dark. They were a hard plastic and used 3 tiny strips of HD Velcro. They were nice. I had the clear on my FJ.
