Likewise here. Didn't catch this 'mod' until months after purchase.
The switch plate was ~$15 but the door panel was ~$360 so I've been living with it.
Maybe others fixing this will inspire/shame me into action.

 

I actually cut a small piece of plastic off of a dust pan and I have tried twice to epoxy it on the under side.
I need a better bonding compound then I think it will work.

 

Going to go get one of these today. I'll update tomorrow if I get to it.

Or something similar. I like the staples, probably use stainless mesh with plastic then a stapler to mold to body.

 

Hi, I have the same issue. Very interested to hear if you get this resolved.

 

Any follow up solutions to this little piece that has broken off (using same above photo as that’s the exact piece that broke off my Drivers side interior panel switch housing/door panel area, as I’ve highlighted with green circle). I’ve currently got duck tape holding the switch housing down and affixed for now. Appears to be no real solution, sans replacing the complete interior door panel…..🤷‍♂️
