This one is very detailed, including the three gauge cluster on the dash and an iPad attached above the glovebox! The side view mirrors even have a dot to depict the marker lights. The roof rack and rock sliders look realistic as well. The only significant visual flaws are that the crawl control is missing and the beadlock style TRD wheels are not quite as detailed.

I saw other colors on the Jada website, but the cement was the only true-to-color TT I saw. I like your black primer model, but the retro stripe one on the site was a little much for me (I mean my kids).

The one @wheelinyotas posted above, is the same one I have. Local toyota dealers have them tons in the parts department, in all colours, including iceberg.They don't have radiant red. Their only red hue is the brick one.

That attention to detail ups the awesome factor a few notches.

 

The extra wheels and tires make this particular model stand out from the others on the Wal Mart shelf.

Too late. Walmart says out of stock now. Everyone here must have gone over there in droves and bought one. But I just snagged one on EBay for $28 and free shipping. It looks so nice and has those extra tires I decided the $8 premium was worth it. There's also a bunch of AutoART versions listed there too, but the price is a little steep.

Here are a few RC models I found "for the kids" on a previous trip to Tokyo...not enough luggage space to fit these and mailing was way too expensive

 

Here's two more from Japan....these Tomicas are their "Matchbox"...they are like $4 in Japan. They usually produce a single run then they stop and after a little while they become rarer and collectible. These were the ones they had at the time I was there, but if you search on ebay you'll see all sorts of versions...

 

Ironically when I was in Megaweb Toyota City in Odaiba, at the store there was nothing for FJC.

I bought some diecast Fj60, and MR2 and a Celica All trac. Interestingly I picked up some Lotus signs there. But not a single FJC, even after I spoke to the gentleman working the store.

 

I have a yellow die cast found in Lidl (German food store!) But I would love a cement one!

If you go on walmart.com there’s a few different scale fj toys if you do a search just for FJ. Many colors and sizes too.

 

Takara Tomy Q-Eyes FJ Cruiser

 

I have the HPI RC crawler FJ they made a few years ago. Its also discontinued so its getting harder to find. You can grab them on eBay for 200-300 dollars if you watch. Its a really well built RC truck. Awesome capabilities and a lot of fun. My son and I built a track for ot in our woods with logs and creek crossings. Love it. If you can find one, but it.

1/24 JADA FJ Cruiser review.

 

I saw a couple at Toyota that were 1/24 scale and were both white with the Ivan Stewart racing stripes on them. Didn`t ask price being they were at Toyota

 

 

When the FJ Cruiser was first introduced into the US back in '07, Toyota Motor Sales sent a model to most everyone who purchased the TRD Special Edition / Black on Black...

 

I prefer 1:10th scale

 

The HPI Venture FJ was a great RTR (ready to run) model. Already nicely modded and tons of additional mods to keep you busy. Also additional bodies available to replace if needed or to switch things around. $400 (after the initial rush) wasn't a bad price for a fully built model (and when compared to several hundred dollars for an Autoart diecast).
