Howdy, all. I know that Clazzios have been done to death on the forum -- I've read every post -- but all the threads are pretty old and I didn't find my precise question.
I haven't bought a new FJ in 17 years, but I just bought my second '07. (Read below for my sad backstory.) In the intervening 17 years, seat-cover technology seems to have made a big leap. Enter Clazzio. I'm just learning about them. Everything I read is just peachy. I've heard lots of pros, but I haven't heard many cons. Certainly no deal-breaker cons. Consequently, I want to buy a set.
But before I lay my good coin on the table: Has anyone encountered anything that they just couldn't stomach?
Also, how do they smell? 👈 Honest question.
Thank you, brethren. 🙏
Sad backstory: I bought my first FJ (Black Cherry Pearl) from the Toyota dealer in Houston in 2007 (brand new) and soon swore an oath that I'd keep it until one of us died. We were buddies. Then in March, after 17 years, I got into a fender bender. I had to drive it home (more than 200 miles) and it performed perfectly. Yet when I took it to my insurance company's body shop, they totaled it. I think it's a huge scam, but there you go. Anyways, I ended up taking my money and buying another '07 (Titanium Metallic) with almost the same mileage (165K).
