I used the grommet and light from post #6. It worked great. Thanks for the tips of the red film and 680 Ohm resistor. The first gasket took a little to figure out since I didn’t have instructions. I think I squeezed the second one in place in about 5 minutes. I was highly motivated by mosquitoes.

Now I’m wishing that I would have integrated it with the turn signal. Both of my bulbs were out so this was perfect. Here’s a day shot. Amount of light looks perfect at night.
