Thanks for the response. I’ve only had it for a couple of weeks and the airbag light is on. No idea if this has anything to do with it or not. I just saw this wire hanging free and knew it should be going somewhere. As far as I know everything else is working.

I ran into a fellow FJ er this evening while out on an errand. He let me look at his rig and identify where the wire should be grounded. It goes to the bolt that is at 1:00 in the picture.

Now that i've blow up the pic I can see where it might go on the bolt head facing aft, but looking at the diagrams and if it is A2, looks like it should be going to a body point.

The bolt going aft at 1:00 in the picture is where the guy’s FJ I looked at last night went to. Will investigate some more today.

@Glenarch can you snap a pic of where yours is attached?

Yep, you’re 100% correct. The bolt that holds the little metal stub for the wiring harness to clip to is our winner.

Bolt not tight yet, but this shows where it goes.

I’m finding all sorts of lose or missing fasteners as I give it a once over. Judging from the carfax the previous owner had a lot of the work done to it at oil change places. 🤔
