Just installed the factory tow harness today and while installing the new relay and fuses there were 2 other spots for towing. What is the 30A Towing BRK and the 30A Towing #2 for? Is there a factory break controller that can be purchased?

Nope as far as I know, there was never a brake controller available OEM. The fuse box, like other parts is most likely shared with the rust of the truck line.
I changed the wiring for my trailer and also my F J Cruiser plug in. The wires are attached correctly but I have no lights on the drivers side of my trailer. Did I blow a fuse and if so, which 1?
it's likely your trailer lights or wiring is the cause, not the Toyota stuff.... if you know you plugged everything in properly with the oem kit.
You can buy a trailer hitch tester plug for $5 at any autoparts store that has LED indicator lights to tell you which lights are powered to
travel past the hitch into your trailer. This would rule out the FJ wiring and know for sure that it's the trailer.
Sorry to but in, but I have just installed a 7-pin tow harness on my FJ. Put in the 4-pin from the factory and added an adaptor. Problem is, how do I install the camper battery charging wire. It calls for a 30amp wire going to pin#4 on the 7-pin connector. Do not want to run straight to battery, but need it to be switched. Any ideas?
A relay to an ignition switched source... OR... straight to the battery with a fuse at the battery end... Why not have it on all the time, just remember to unplug your trailer when you are parked?
