Underhood Fuse Box: Spare "Switched" circuit?

I've been digging through a bunch of threads, searching, but have yet to find my answer. I'm adding an auxilliary fuse block to my '13 TT and I need an ignition-switched spare circuit from the fuse box under the hood.

I understand that on older models, the interior fuse box had a spare switched circuit located in the middle row, 5th from the left. I was hoping to find one in the box in the engine compartment so I didn't have to run extra wires to my relays under the hood for the new fuse block.

Has anyone identified one yet?

Thanks!

there is a photo that has been posted a thousand times.

but, heck who knows where it is. :)

easy to check with a 12v tester. just stick it in any fuse slot and see if it lights up with the power off. if it doesn't then it's switched.

How about all those empty fuse slots has anyone integrated into this interior fuse panel from the back? I'm sure that some of those busses are switched and others are constant on. I'd rather tie into the fuse panel from behind and then use the fuse block for just that, the fuse block.

I guess that them empty slots are for factory accessories that may be wired or populated if factory options are added later.

I just mapped my 2014 FJ -- I'd read there were changes (in 2010?) from what my 2008 had, but couldn't find a picture I was sure was from the new FJs, so I wanted to find out exactly what all the empty slots did. The side colored is the side with power.

Key (for empty slots only!):

No color -- no power ever
Red -- Power always
Green -- Power when key is turned to Accessory (only one I could find)
Blue -- Power when key is on

I know this is an old thread but it if I'm reading correctly the original question was never answered, which was a power source on the OUTSIDE fuse box UNDER the hood. CEC_LDO, I'm sure you have figured something out by now but I figured I would post my answer so if anyone googled it looking it may help.
So I have some small running lights in my Demello bumper that I want on ALL the time if the truck is running, whether the headlights are on or off. I have a 2010. I have a relay in the mix so the main power draw comes right from the battery, I just needed something small to trigger the relay.
In the middle of the fuse box there is a 7.5a fuse labeled DRL (Daytime Running Lights). I assume this is powered directly from the alternator instead of the battery because while everything else in the fusebox gets about 12v this one gets about 13-14v and only when the truck is RUNNING. I tapped my relay "trip" wire into it and voila, running lights are on any time the truck is.
As a side note, if you want them only as daytime running lights, you can use a headlight fuse for the relay wire, and when you turn the lights on they go off. Problem is, for whatever reason, it only works the first time. In other words, you start the truck, they come on, you turn on the lights, they turn off, you turn the lights back off, the relay isn't tripped again and they stay off till you turn the truck off and restart it.
