Hello all.
I own an 2008 FJ Cruiser and am in the process of upgrading my electrical system. The current setup involves a tangled web of messy relays and numerous wires, which I plan to replace with the more streamlined Auxbeam system for a cleaner aesthetic and improved functionality. However, I find myself faced with the dilemma of determining the optimal placement for the electrical panel within the engine compartment.
The Auxbeam system includes a mounting bracket, but its compatibility with the FJ Cruiser remains uncertain. In my research, I have come across specialized mounting panels designed for specific vehicle makes and models, such as the "Power Tray" Auxbeam mounting plate.
In essence, my inquiry revolves around the preferred mounting plate or bracket used by others for their Auxbeam system, or if there are any ingenious suggestions for securely and aesthetically mounting it within the confines of an FJ Cruiser.
Thanks very much, everyone!
