I just bought my 2013, 3 weeks ago :)
It took 4 months of work to get it (ordered it !!), but I am ESTATIC !!!!!!
The newest vehicle I owned before this was 8 years old when I took ownership!
It is late, so for the moment, I'm just going to post some pictures and ask you all a question .....
Since I got the bronze wheels, I am getting a 5th for the spare, and then selling the 5 17" stock wheels (rim and tire), how do I find what they are worth? I tried calling the dealer, but they didn't have a price on the rims (parts dept)???? Any suggestions as to where to look?

I tried looking at other sites, but then I get distracted by goodies :)
Oh, I do have two mods for it that I haven't had time to put on yet (Christmas traveling).

UPGRADES:
I bought the MPAC molle pouch and rack, and the scabbard rack.
I also bought the N-Fab rock rails with detachable steps :)
At my first ever trip to a detail shop, I got a special coating put on the paint, called opti-coat, just wash and dry, no wax needed ..... ever!! And they tinted the two front door windows and scotch-guarded the seats :) As well as recommendations on how to properly wash/dry, and keep it purty :)

I'll post more pics when I get a chance,

OH !! His name is "Moose", and his first trip was to the outdoor gun range ;)
My brother wanted to name it Rudolph since it looks like a white tail deer, but I didn't like that, so at least got him a Rudolph costume for Christmas :)

Personally I would go with a winch and a bumper. Although a roof rack would be awesome too. So I vote for those two. :bigthumb:

This one I posted on FB, "Moose" sitting at Starbucks, then my brother (he has a jeep) said "there is a white tail deer in my spot, I don't know whether to shoot it or get it a cup of coffee!".
So of course, I had to reply "the fact that you HAVE A SPOT at Starbucks says it all ;) "

I like those wheels on the truck but IMO they don't offer enough contrast to the vehicle overall, to keep the silver trim bits. With those wheels I think you need to black out the mirrors, door handles and bumpers as a next visual priority.

Well, we can take the horn off of the poll :)
Moose received a 4 note cadillac horn set for Christmas!

Personally, I say the roof rack first!! I picked up my 2012 FJ in May. And grabbed the one off the show room floor, because it DIDNT have a roof Rack!
Then I went to the FJ summit in July. And relized, I had been driving a NAKED FJ for months!! They just don't look right without one!!!

I'd actually upgrade the suspension before I did any of the other mods. A better adjustable suspension will help support the additional weight of the bumper and winch, but that also depends on what bumper you plan on investing in.

A simple fix to the weak FJ horn is to install the optional dual horn... it's much improved.

Thanks for the info, I didn't even think about the extra weight of the winch and bumper!!
Wow, this is going to be a tough decision !!!

Hmmmm, only having it three weeks, I am skiddish of making permanent changes (plastidip). I'll have to try taking of the rings and see what that looks like. I suppose I can take a couple of pictures and PhotoShop them to play with the look of blacking it out :)
My dealer inquired about buying my running boards, but I haven't responded yet, until I get the rock rails on and am sure I don't want the running boards :) I guess I just don't have the ability to picture something in my mind like that, I have to see it in person, kind of sucks when trying to pick out mods!! HA !!!!

2 things

1- plasti dip is NOT permanent you can peal it off with ease if you don't like it.

2- running boards are very bad on FJs because they attach to the rock panel (body of FJ under your floor) while Rock Rails attach to your FRAME (giving real protection)

If you hit your running board on a rock it can result in denting your rocker panel or worse.

Sweet :)
Bye-bye running boards
