Best way to run wire length of FJ

I plan to run 6 AWG wire (red and black) from the engine compartment of the FJ to the back bumper, presumably along the frame rail. I've put a jacket over the wire for protection. Zip ties don't strike me as a trustworthy method of attaching the wire to the frame rail, as they become brittle and fail over time. Does anyone have any creative solutions they've had success with?

I ran all my wires from the engine compartment to the rear bumper inside the frame. This includes the air lines from the compressor under the hood to the 3 gal air tank behind the rear bumper. The easy way to do it is to use an electrician's fish tape. Start at the rear and fish the tape up to the front. Then attach your wires to the tape and pull them back. No need to enclose the wires in a loom as they are well protected inside the frame. You can attach the loom at the ends where the wires exit the frame if desired.

I was wondering about pulling it through the frame, glad to hear someone's done it and it works. I've already spent the 45 minutes needed to pull/push both wires through that Chinese finger puzzle sheathing, so hopefully the double wire fits through one of the frame openings. Thanks!

Bar3K, I already bought single conductor wire. In hindsight, should have gone with SOW cable or similar. I think I'll be OK with it inside the frame.
