Cargo Area Broken Tie Down

Cleaning the cargo area noticed one of the tie downs on the back of the seat was broken.

I believe I tied down the chainsaw across the cargo area instead of a straight pull. It broke the plastic piece the holds the metal part. See pics.

Looks like the plastic piece just snaps in. Don't see a way to remove the whole assy.

Didn't want to put too much pressure on the bottom of the broken piece. Looks like it just snaps in.

Anyone been there, done that?

I did the same thing. After I did it I noticed the child seat picture on the plastic trim and realized its not a tie down point, it's an anchor point which withstands an upward pull as an anchor for car seats.

Yep. That is NOT a cargo tie down. It's a child seat anchor.

@gearwrench @2.ooohhh Thanks, must be a replaceable part. I'll check with Toyota dealer. Amazon also but its probably a stretch.

The tie down points below them are used for the storage drawer. I'll just have to be more gentle
