The Compass/Temperature/Inclinometer Console console is hard to read during the day. Is there a way to brighten the lighting in it, is there a hooded light that will fit over it, can you replace the current lights with brighter lights etc.? I've heard there is a digital aftermarket console that has better lighting. Does anybody know of this? Or do I just say what a cute little decoration?

Okay;
1. Daytime
a. Drive Lights on or no lights - can only read temperature, others too dim
b. Lights on - all (too include temperature) become too dim to read, brightness dial doesn't affect the console.
2. Nighttime- Lights on (I gave up night driving with no lights many years ago), barely readable, regardless of brightness dial.

I would like to put some brighter lights into the console that would be good day or night.

So I take the top off, remove the console, remove the inner top and find printed circuit boards and no access to the lighting. Said a few choice words about modern technology and re-installed the console. Lo and behold the lights now work. I don't know if I had a loose connection or just scared the console by messing with it, but now it works. Thanks to all of you who did give advice.
