Second leg of my Colorado / Utah trip. Ouray to Silverton on the Million Dollar Highway is not exactly an expedition but it was interesting. Got into Silverton early and it was deserted (Sunday morning 9am... that would change).
Jimmy-Buffet suggested I check out Animas Forks, so I did. They day was overcast and spitting drizzle... perfect for landscape shots in my opinion. I like a lot of texture in the sky. Fall colors were still amazing. I've attached some pics.
Thanks again for route advice on this unknown segment of my trip. I've learned a few things in the process (like, don't leave your damn compressor at home dumbass. I mean, really?).
On to Moab and Zion.
